Project Overview

 

JAR Systems partnered with Lean Labs to completely redesign their website and create a user experience that could keep up with their rapid growth in the education technology space.

The challenge? Their existing website had become dated and didn’t communicate their offerings and advantages to their ideal customers. What started as a potential limited-scope development project quickly became clear—they needed a complete overhaul to support their expanding operations and growing international presence.

Our mission: Build a modern, scalable website in HubSpot CMS that could handle complex multi-language functionality while dramatically improving the customer portal experience for school districts and IT administrators.

Here's how we made it happen.

Introduction

As JAR Systems’ Quick-Sense™ charging solutions gained traction with districts like Denver Public Schools, Dallas ISD, and Toronto District School Board, their legacy website couldn’t keep pace with their growth. It failed to position the company as a category leader and created friction for both prospects and existing customers.

The objective was clear: build a modern, scalable website that would align with their growth, enhance the customer journey, and provide technical capabilities their internal team and their district partners needed.

The result? A streamlined website experience with a customer portal that actually works. 

The problem

When JAR Systems came to us, they had a few key problems to solve. They were struggling with:

  • An outdated website that diluted brand authority
  • Lack of multilingual support for global expansion
  • A customer portal that generated service requests instead of solving them
  • Underutilized HubSpot CMS functionality despite heavy platform investment

In short, their digital infrastructure was limiting their growth. They needed a partner with deep HubSpot knowledge and significant technical chops to get the job done right. 

Enter: Lean Labs.

The solution

Lean Labs partnered with JAR Systems for a total website overhaul that would better support their continued growth in the education technology market. Here's what we did:

  • End-to-end website redesign, optimized for clarity, performance, and conversion
  • New customer portal to fix their previous technical challenges and improve the support experience for IT directors and administrators
  • Integrated multilingual pages to support their international expansion plans
  • Customized HubSpot CMS development to maximize the value of their existing tech stack

We focused on understanding their complete scope upfront and incorporating input from sales, marketing, and customer success stakeholders to ensure a smooth, headache-free website design and launch process. 

The results

The new JAR Systems site is up and running. We don’t have any numbers yet (check back for our 90-day review!) But their team is already reporting some positive changes: 

  • Customer support efficiency improved through a fully functional portal 
  • Increased traffic and leads, driven by improved search visibility 
  • Stronger alignment between site strategy and revenue operations, thanks to HubSpot CMS improvements
  • Positive executive feedback, with the Chief Revenue Officer describing it as one of the smoothest website projects of his career

JAR Systems now has a website that scales with its growth in the education technology market and a customer portal that works flawlessly for busy school district administrators.
